Hope for the Hungry Food Ministry

There’s Hope for the Hungry organization, based in Cumming, GA, partners with local churches to distribute food and the Gospel of Jesus Christ to each local community they visit.  Concord Baptist is one of the many locations they work with by bringing boxes of food on the second Wednesday of each month.  The Concord Team is responsible for getting people in to pick up food.  Our church team helps to pray with the people, share the Gospel and witness to the lost.

There’s Hope for the Hungry is a scripture-rooted, passion-filled ministry, founded in prayer and committed to evangelizing and feeding people who are in need. There’s Hope for the Hungry will witness to the lost and feed those who are hungry by relieving human suffering and poverty worldwide in the name of Jesus Christ.  The major goal is to feed the hungry; additionally, the ultimate goal is to bring people to a place in their lives through short term food relief, salvation, and prayer to where they depend upon themselves and Jesus Christ for their short term, long term, and eternal needs.  In partnership with the Hope for the Hungry organization, Concord Church has helped 1,833 families in 2019.  Almost 32,000 pounds of food distributed and 16 Professions of Faith in 2019 alone in our local community.  We look forward to seeing what God will do through this food ministry at Concord Baptist Church in 2020.
