Our monthly food ministry is also a community outreach program. We not only provide help to the needy but it is an opportunity to share the Gospel with the lost. This is a great way to serve the Lord and volunteer.
The Women's Missionary Union meet once a month on the first Sunday. This group focuses on missions projects & church activities. It is a fun & busy group & is a great place for women to get involved in the church.
Our bus ministry operates a bus route every Sunday morning. We provide a pick up and drop off service to people who don't have transportation to hear the word of God. Please contact us for a ride at the email. We are always looking for volunteers.
Concord has supported the Christmas Backpack Program for several years. This is a great mission which helps those in need in the Appalachian Region. This lets us put together backpacks filled with goodies and supplies for children in need.
The goal of the brotherhood is to help the church in all of its needs. Some people forget about this ministry, but it is one of the back bones of our church. This group helps in so many ways with our youth group, cooking, taking care of our elder and being with the families of lost ones. Please keep these men in your thoughts and prayers.
Village Missions exists to glorify Jesus Christ by developing spiritually vital country churches in rural North America. They fulfill this aim by placing pastors in small town and rural churches that might otherwise have to close, and in doing so, preserve the Gospel presence in over 220 communities across the United States and Canada. Through Village Missions our church sponsors The Bice Family as they serve as missionaries in Interior, South Dakota.
The Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) is an organization founded over 60 years ago that uses the powerful platform of sport to reach every coach and every athlete with the transforming power of Jesus Christ. Concord Baptist Church supports this mission financially each month both in Paulding County and Carroll County. The vision of FCA is to see the World transformed by Jesus Christ through the influence of coaches and athletes.
Good Samaritan Baptist Mission was founded in 1968 by Missionary Bob and Joan Tyson after traveling to Nicaragua to follow the calling that God had given them to be Missionaries. The GSBM is based in Villa Rica, Georgia. Because of the extensive work of the Tysons, today there are over 200 churches, 5 Christian schools, 9 radio stations, 30 feeding centers and hundreds of employees in Honduras, Nicaragua, Mexico and Costa Rica. Concord Baptist Church provides monthly support to the Good Samaritan Baptist Mission.
The Pregnancy Resource Center in Carrollton is one of the local missions supported by Concord Baptist Church. The Annual Baby Bottle Boomerang is one of the ways Concord supports the PRC. The PRC exists to share grace, save lives and to help build stable healthy families within our communities.
Paulding Pregnancy Services is a Christian ministry that advocates for life giving choices. PPS has been serving women and families experiencing unexpected pregnancies for over 20 years.The professional staff and volunteers provide up-to-date information about pregnancy, abortion procedures, and adoption. All services are free and include pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, education about pregnancy, birth control, abortion procedures & alternatives, and adoption, prenatal and parenting classes, they also help with maternity & baby clothes, diapers, bottles, and baby furniture (as available). Concord Baptist Church supports the Paulding Pregnancy Services through donations of baby items and monetary donations.
Shepherd’s Rest Ministry, located in Paulding County, is a family violence crisis center. They provide a 24 hour crisis line 24/7/365 and a safe and confidential crisis house provides all basic needs. Shelter residents receive agency core services including individual case management, budgeting, domestic violence counsel, resource referrals and more. Since the shelter opened on December 26, 1997, Shepherd’s Rest has provided shelter to over 3,000 women and children and has provided support services to thousands and thousands of others through the weekly therapy group, legal advocacy and crisis line counseling. Concord Baptist Church is proud to provide monthly support to this critical mission in the Paulding County communities.
Paulding County Helping Hands is a non-profit Christian organization uniting the community to actively fulfill God’s plan by assisting our neighbors in need.
Helping Hands is working to foster a caring atmosphere for anyone experiencing temporary or emergency struggles due to a crisis situation. It is their desire that God’s love reaches out through Helping Hands to serve those that have fallen through the cracks and assist with immediate needs while respecting the individual dignity. Concord Baptist Church proudly provides monthly financial support to this ministry. They are a great help in local communities of Paulding County.
