- For preschool to high school age groups
- Meals served every week
- Lessons and activities for all age groups
- Our age groups are divided into 4 groups by grade.
- We have a rotation of lessons, games and singing each month.
Wednesday Evening Prayer Group – 6:00 PM
At Concord we believe in Prayer and make it a primary focus. Prayer meeting is each Wednesday at 6:00 pm. This is a time devoted to sharing, praising and praying. We believe in the power of Prayer as covered in God’s Holy Word. It is our desire and our goal to Pray about all things – nothing is too small and nothing is too big. During this Hour of Prayer on Wednesday, we devote time to individual prayer and time for group prayer at the end of the service. We not only pray for the needs of God’s people, we spend time praising and thanking Him for all that He has done for us.
This Prayer Group has strengthened our prayer life. We have used this time to learn how to pray according to God’s Word and have studied how to improve our prayer life. 1 Thessalonians 5:17 says “Pray without ceasing”. As Christians we give thanks to God for the good He can bring out of every situationeven in the face of adversity and trouble. James 5:16 tells us “Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another,”. The Prayer that results from true faith is effective. We know that God cares for us and hears our Prayers.
For several years a group at Concord has remained focused on prayer. We believe our Church has been blessed beyond measure because of a diligent focus on Prayer. We invite everyone to join us for the Wednesday evening Hour of Prayer at Concord Missionary Baptist Church.
